Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could just assume, as a person with a disability, that wherever we went, accommodations were in place for us? Sure, there are laws in place to ensure that things are in place, but it’s not always the case that its easily accessible. What would help is knowing whether or not a place we intend to patronize is going to be difficult or easy to access. The rules just say there has to be access, but not that they have to be easy.
